The Delectable Home of Aguachiles, Tacos, Tostados, and So Much More – Bahía 103 Cevichería & Bar!
My dear friend Adriana first started coming to Puerto Vallarta when she was a little girl. She would come here to see her Abuela (Grandmother) in the summer.
Now, years later, she has a wonderful husband (Jorge), two beautiful children and they regularly travel here from the United States for vacation.

Adriana Suggested Lunch at Bahía 103
Adriana and her family were recently here in Puerto Vallarta for one of those vacations and I was lucky enough to meet up with them.
When then topic of where we should gather for lunch arose, Adriana quickly suggested Bahía 103 Cevichería & Bar. I am so glad that she did! What an incredible meal we had!

My lunch started off with a cocktail (of course). In this case, a Passion Fruit Margarita along with some tasty Guacamole & Chips.
Next was an amazing marinated Shrimp Taco (Taco de Camaron Adobado) followed by a luscious Mango Passion Fruit Aguachile (Aguachile Mango Maracuya) composed of shrimp, lemon, mango, tomato and passion fruit sauce.

I could have and should have stopped there, but the food was too good! I had two more fantastic dishes – the Chipotluda Tostado and the Los Muertos Tostado.
The Chipotluda is a tostada and it features fresh tuna, diced fresh avocado, strips of blue corn tortilla, crisped to a golden brown, all resting upon a slick of sweet-and-sour ponzu sauce.
The Los Muertos Tostado has avocado, black aguachile, tempura shrimp and chipotle dressing.

For “dessert” I savored the Crimson Smoke cocktail (Cóctel Humo Carmesí) pictured above. A masterful combination of Rancho Labrador Mezcal, Hibiscus and Agave with Tajín, Chamoy and salt on the rim. I have to tell you – Nestor is a most excellent bartender!
I would be remiss if I didn’t give many thanks to our awesome server Jose. He took great care of us and made a number of excellent menu recommendations.
Speaking of “Thank Yous” – I am so grateful to Adriana for recommending Bahía 103. It was a delightful experience. So good in fact that I asked Adriana for more amazing restaurant recommendations here in Puerto Vallarta and she gave me a list of 10 and I suspect that each of them will eventually become Celebrating Puerto Vallarta articles.
I am going to have to give Adriana her own hashtag – #AdrianaApproved
So the next you find yourself Puerto Vallarta hungry for delicious mariscos (seafood), consider Bahía 103 Cevichería & Bar!
