A Very Rewarding Culinary Expedition – Cosecha Farm to Table Restaurant
Cosecha Farm to Table restaurant is a trek through the wilds of Mezcales, but worth it!
On a dusty road that feels like the middle of nowhere is a walled farm, Rancho Organico el Eden.
There are plants, flowers, fruit trees and rolling lawns. A nursery and a few farm animals reside at the base of the property.
Up top is a lovely restaurant featuring hyper local ingredients grown on site, as well as a bar and farm store.

We ventured out with our dog early one weekday summer morning to check it out before the heat of the day chased us back indoors. We walked all over the property and enjoyed it immensely.
Our appetites stoked, we made our way to the restaurant. Seated by the windows overlooking the stone building with a bell that can be hired for private events was a fabulous spot. Plus, picturesque and highly photogenic!

An Exquisite Breakfast
The restaurant on the property is very modern in style with high ceilings, concrete floors, fun lights and lots of plants. It feels pleasantly spacious.
We had breakfast and it was a treat. The housemade yogurt with fruits was a high point, as were the molletes.
But the best part? Being delighted by the bougainvillea-tinted complimentary cocktail. I had no idea those gorgeous blooms could be used in this way and it was a spectacular end to our meal.
Feels like a destination we will keep in rotation for ourselves and to delight visiting guests.
